I’m not a vegetarian, vegan, or am I gluten free, if I was I would probably make it a point to tell you every day. If you are one of these things, great, good for you. Tell me once and that’s it, I don’t need to hear about it every single day.
Now, I like to consider myself pretty adventurous when it comes to eating animals. I’ve eaten several and there’s still several more that I want to try.
Has nothing to do with me not liking animals, I like animals and don’t want them to suffer, but I also know they taste good and provide much needed nourishment. I think the animals we raise for food should be treated properly and not shoved into close quarters where they can’t move. A happy animal is a tasty animal you know.
Some animals I wouldn’t want to eat. Dogs, cats, horses, as a Westerner it’s frowned upon and plus I have dogs for pets, had cats, and view horses as service/work animals. Some countries have no issues with eating these animals, that’s fine, I’ve heard dog has a slightly sweet taste to it and the old saying is “cat, the other other white meat”.
Now, down to what this post is really about, the animals I have consumed.
