Tabletop Appreciation
September 22, 2015 By: AaronOctober 2 – 4 is Tabletop Appreciation Weekend for Extra Life. Like so many gamers my age I got my beginnings playing Tabletop games.
I have fond memories of playing Dungeons and Dragons and Mech Warrior back in the late 80’s and early 90’s with my Cousin Adam. Though a few years older than me we shared many of the same interests when it came to games, comics and such. It was during one of our gaming sessions where I picked up my handle, Cyan, from; I’ve since added a last name and Cyan Dvai has been my email, web address, character name and much more for the better part of 20 years
Since Extra Life will be highlighting tabletop games the weekend of October 2 (also happens to be my birthday) I’ll be live streaming a few gaming sessions that weekend. My friend Erick (also an Extra Lifer) will be getting together to play some X-Wing Miniature and maybe a few other games like Stratego or maybe Risk depending on how many people show up.
