With closed beta coming around the corner and a few of us have either gotten into the beta or purchased a founders pack to get into the beta I wanted to bring up the discussion of which Faction people were planning on trying and eventually if you had an idea of the Faction you’ll play at release.
Besides seeing a few videos and screenshots there’s not a whole lot I know about the game besides it looking really nice.
I was looking at the Faction, which appear to only be 2, and their descriptions have me leaning towards the Crimson Legion. Does anyone that play in any of the other betas know how much the Factions play a role in the game? The descriptions sound like it’ll limit who you can interact with and if that’s the case we probably want to make sure that most of us join the same faction.
I wont be in town when the closed beta starts, I’ll be in Palm Springs that weekend. I do look forward to seeing some screenshots posted by people who start that weekend and I hope to join you guys the following week.
I also want to bring up the state of this website.
I plan on leaving this site as WordPress, there are a few plugins and extensions that I my later add that will expand on it’s functionality but that really depends on how the activity on this site plays out.
Anyone here is more than welcome to register and write a few posts about things that are going on in the gaming community either in the town/state/country you live in or in the game that you are currently playing. I have added a section where I can post links to any kind of streaming service that you use if you would like to add that.
I’ve been posting stuff here about Extra Life which I participate in every year. I’m currently considering making a team for Extra Life. I’m in the Phoenix Guild but that really doesn’t allot very many options for use to do things so I’ve considered going to the Children’s Hospital Foundation and seeing if they would be willing to have an “Official Extra Life Team” wich would allow us to do a lot more stuff, but those talks will have to for a month or two.
Anyway, let me know what you guys are doing, either in the comments here or on Facebook and if you want access on this webpage to do stuff just let me know.
