Crab Cakes

  • 1 lb crab meat (washed and strained)
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 finely chopped green onion
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 1 TBSP finely chopped parsley
  • 3 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (old bay seasoning)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • Sour cream or Spicy Creamy hot sauce (recipe)
  1. Into a mixing bowl add egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, lemon and Worcestershire together.
  2. Add Crabmeat meat, parmesan cheese, parsley and breadcrumbs into mixing bowl and mix together with a fork. Place into refrigerator for 15 min.
  3. Remove and form into patties
  4. Deep fry in Peanut oil until golden brown 0on both sides
  5. Remove and drain into paper towel and allow to cool
  6. Serve with Sour cream and parsley garnish to taste.
