- 3 medium sized potatoes, shredded
- 1/2 to 1lbs of bacon – cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup or more of shredded cheddar
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 12 oz sour cream
- salt & pepper
Topping
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Cook potatoes in 3 quart with inset until the potatoes are almost completely done.
- In a separate skillet, mix potatoes with the above ingredients.
- Place topping over all.
- Turn heat to medium, cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Turn heat to low, cook for 15 minutes.
